Is it impossible to find a Schecter PT?

    Hell.

I don't even care if it's the old 80's Custom deal or not. I just want a damn black Schecter PT (not fastback) with 2 humbuckers and a Maple board.

    Rant over.

The GC in Tucson has a red one with gold hardware for $399 I think.

It's not black, but it's got buckers and maple board http://www.tommyguitars.com/catalog/item/1569333/6002282.htm

Sorry, I got the last black one he had up for sale. It's a kick ass guitar! Bought it just because Pete was what got me playing guitar in my teens, but it plays so well it's one of my main gigging guitars now...

At this price I'm guessing they're imported.

Hate to jack my own thread but will these accept Warmoth/other replacement necks?

I'm thinking one of these with a Nocaster neck and 59's would make my life complete.

You should be able to. They're both 25.5" The original Schecters were parts guitars. If these newer PTs are made to the same specs as the original PTs, I can't see why a Fender neck wouldn't bolt right on it.

    Good deal.

Sounds like I've got a dream guitar.

You can also order a new one, custom made to your specs, from the Schecter Custom Shop in Burbank, CA, thru a dealer, of course. Wouldn't that be cool?
