This playing is both "hot" and "cool". The sound is spot on.

    Cheers,

Thanks JP I put my spx 90 in a loop so you can hear more of the real guitar tone...

You are very good at mixing up various jazz "colors" in your phrasing and modes, and some notes that sound a little bit "outside" but are "cleverly disguised." Hard to explain, but it sure sounds like good loungey jazz.

What piano is that? If I would change just one thing on this, I would use a piano that is just a bit less bright, as that bright timbre tends to distract me from the guitar. A smoother sounding piano perhaps like Bill Evans might have on Round Midnight. Or maybe the guitar just wasn't loud enough, not sure.....

All around superb clip here, as usual.

Thanks for the info...this is an Aebersold backing but I do have control to mix the guitar more out front...maybe I'll try that, Thanks!!

Thanks! I just remixed this...think it's way better, Thanks @soundchaser59 for the suggestions. I find that sometimes you need scoop the backing to help make room for your guitar...The re mix is now in the OP as well.
