This amp was on my local Craig's List. Here is a pic of it with my Tele:

The amp is in absolute perfect condition, 100% stock. I doubt the speaker is fully broken in. I've only played through the amp for about an hour, but so far it is really sweet! I'll have to wait a while to decide if I want to tweak it or swap speakers, but right now it sounds excellent, as is, with my Strat and Tele.

good find. DRRIs are pretty sweet. I know gearpagers routinely hate on this amp regularly for its brightness, but I dig it. Try A/Bing between the normal and vibrato channels. The normal channel has no bright cap, so I would use it for darker overdrive sounds, and the vibrato channel for chimey cleans.

    The DRRI needs the following:
    decent speaker
    decent tubes

Thats about a $200 shopping list for an amp you can get for around $600-700 used.

It's then a very nice amp for those clean to mildly overdriven Fender tones.

    Thanks Daddyo!

I have a speaker to try stashed in the basement! Tubes will definitely be the first purchase.
