Which scumback has the tightest lowend ? Think lowend of a v30 but mids and highs of a greenback.

I have tried almost the entire Eminence line as well as Warehouse speakers.

None of them sound like a greenback with tighter lows

I was wondering if Scumbacks can nail that tone or possibly one of the Weber models.

I do not like mixing speakers

How would you compare the bottom end of the H75 with a std. greenback? I'm looking for the same thing as the OP.

Help me out here Fellas ! I have been looking for this speaker for two years and have tried a lot of speakers along the way. A bunch of them I do like and have held on to, alot of them I couldn't stand.
However there must be a speaker that really sounds like a greenback but has a real tight bottom. I'm not talking bigger bottom that sounds round, I'm talking very tight like a v30.

I would send this question directly to Jim at Scumback Speakers. He is very responsive and will tell you exactly what you need to know. I spoke to him a couple of weeks back wanting a Greenback sound with less mid/high range spike that I'm currently getting with my Celestion V30's. He guided me toward the M75's, which are likely going to be a perfect match for my application. I'll be picking up my speakers in a few days, as they're almost done.

My guess is that you might want to consider the 55 Hz bass cone, so maybe H55's. It will also depend on what kind of cab and how many speakers you put in that cab. Bottom line...email/call Jim. I know he's got the solution for you.
