Scumback Question

I didn't want to bother Jim with this (although he'll probably answer here anyway) and I thought the answer may help others.

I purchased what I believe to be a 65W Scumback H75 LHDC. According to the web site it should be labeled H75-8HP-LHDC, but this one is labeled H75-8-LHDC. How can I tell if it is a 65W version?

P.S. I already contacted the seller and he believes it to be 65. I just want to make sure before I purchase the other 3 for my 4x12.

Thanks!
Jeff

Negative. It should have H75-8HP-LHDC on the little white sticker on the frame. If it doesn't, it's a 30w.

Thanks! My original intention was to install it in a Shiva combo, which is why I needed the wattage, but now I'm going to mix with another of the same and two M75s in a 4x12.

Would there be much of a difference between the 65 and 30 watters tone wise in a 4x12?

Not much difference in tone. A tiny bit more bass, and a tiny bit less treble with the 65w vs the 30w, but you can EQ that out to match without much work.
