If you look at the back panel image on MF, the SKU tag says:
And the Mini 101 tag says "SIZE MATTERS". Better than fortune cookies or Snapple caps.
I really really really really really don't need this.
Knew that one was coming up eventually based on the discontinued model list.
Face your Quilter "fears"!
You could flip the 101 and buy this. The 101 is back in stock at MF (well, they have one, at least) for $290!
I really really really really really don't need your 101.
So... Anybody gigged with the 100 watt version? Is it loud enough to keep up with a heavy handed drummer or is this 200 watt version the on that I really need? Not that I already bought the 101 Mini Head or anything...
Where's that list? I fear the Mini 101 w/ Reverb popping up as SDotD. That would be hard to resist.
I love that Lead preamp so much on the 101 though I have a treble booster incoming and a VH140 clone coming in. So I'll have boosted Marshall or face rippping death metal tone in about a 6 pound package
I'd say it's going to depend on the speaker cabinet you use, and the room. But damn the 101 is surprisingly loud.
Waiting for "not our best, but good enough"
Not clear what role the VH140 plays here, but sounds like fun.
I'm guessing the 200W head has a preamp very similar to - if not identical to - the one in the M101. But I shouldn't be spending your money.
Curious: which Quilter would you put that label on? They probably couldn't fit "NOT OUR BEST BUT GOOD ENOUGH FOR MBENIGNI AT $180".
G*DD@MMIT I JUST SAW THERE IS A LEAD CHANNEL ON THE 200 WATTER
The VH140 is (if you didn't already know) legendary solid state death metal amp by Ampeg. I'll use it in the FX return for
Thankfully, I Quilter-proofed my Christmas by pulling the trigger on the ‘definitely do not need a Brent Hinds Orange Terror’ STDOTD that went down on Black Friday week.
IF that had not come up this would’ve been a done deal for me... Still tempting but would definitely raise spousal eyebrows. I’m not a huge flipper or gear hoarder, I’ve never had a “two amp month”. Yes, I know, so not TGP-long-timer.,
No idea. Never played one
No popping noise when you plug it in
