    Hi there,
So I've got an El Capistan for a few months. I play stuff like Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, GnR...

I really like this delay thing, and TGP well encourages it :rotflmao.
I've read about stacking delays, seems good.

Anyway, I've saw an used MXR Carbon Copy, for like U$S127 vs U$S170 of a TC Flashback (Not really that prices here in my country, but it will serve as comparisson).

First I've started reading about the CC, but then I saw about the Flashback, and given I can get any of those, I think with the Flashback I have a bigger range of delays. But maybe I can get something unique with the CC.

    Opinions?.

    Thanks.-

PS: That's mainly what I can get here, not a lot of options, at affordable prices.

The carbon copy altered my original tone so that a no for me. I really wish there was a fix to this cuz it's an amaing sounding delay.

The TC is way less noisy than the CC. The Analog setting on the TC is almost as good as the CC. So my vote would be for the TC.

but CC is analog and it has its own gilmourish dark tone magic in it. I wote CC only for its mojo dark repeats.

When in bypass or switched on? I found the true bypass sound really good and when on just turn down the mix to taste. I think the CC has good analog mojo!

CC does not alter tone. Excellent delay. The TC has boot/loading issues with the software can cut out or take a while to cut on. To me, sketchy. Catalinbread Montavillian looks great too, though.

Flashback is more versitile, but without tap tempo I wouldn't use it live...I would spring for any of the boss dd's, primarily a dd5 or dd7 imho

Didn't like the CC; too dark delays for my taste and didn't like the modulation too.

I like the FB a lot, in particular the Space Echo Tone Print. I don't use tap tempo, so that's no problem for me.

They are both pretty common delays in music shops. I would recommend you to try them out yourself, if you have the chance.

I really think it would be good to instead choose a Boss DD-7, as it would compliment the ElCap quite well. I just prefer it over the Flashback and C Copy, YMMV.

I have both the Carbon Copy and the Flashback on my board.
    Both on the same board!
    (only 6 pedals total)
