    "Smoke free, pet free", etc.

    Translation:
You're not cool, you don't know if it's reliable and you have NO idea what good tone is...

I don't think that translation is all that accurate, honestly...

Perhaps, but In *my* experience it seems to be far more often than not.

Maybe the little man inside his head says that to him. :rotflmao Doesn't say that to me however.

It's a bit tedious when someone rails on about how this is the greatest guitar EVAR, but then offers it for peanuts. Sometimes you wonder if it is a dud and he can't wait to unload it while keeping the other similar guitars in the background of his pics.

Other things that aren't a plus are big, ugly bare feet in the photos  , placing the guitar on some sad bed or other object that looks like it's in a crack house, and/or not even bothering to wipe the guitar down before photographing it or posting blurry/incomplete photos that don't allow you to judge the overall condition.

Haha, that's one that really bugs me, too. As if the guitar is going to collapse under the stress of all the blues wankery.

Ok, but here's what you wrote:

    "Smoke free, pet free", etc.

    Translation:
You're not cool, you don't know if it's reliable and you have NO idea what good tone is...

How do you know if the seller is cool or not...how would you judge? How does it even matter? The fact that you are basing it on if the seller smokes or had a cat makes me think you're not cool. I'm not sure how "smoke/pet free" relates to reliable, but whatever...it seems to me all that the seller is saying that it doesn't stink of smoke and cat piss.. How do you know if that person knows what good tone is? How do YOU know what tone is good other than what sounds good to you? Your idea of good tone and the next guys could be different, as "good tone" is both subjective and frankly, needs to be in context of the application of said tone.

    IMO....

The one that doitches me off is people who throw the word "Vintage" around. a Squier, MIM, or MIA Fender cannot be vintage. a '92 Strat is NOT vintage.

For vehicles, the one that really hackles me off is "Highway miles" WTH did you take to GET to the highway?

"Niggles" was a great sniglet until they added it to the dictionary.

    "buyer pays the PayPal fees"

bake it into the price or accept it as the cost of doing business. I skip ads that ask for the fees paid by the buyer or to use PP gift option.

Something about PP fees being wrapped up somewhere in the price makes it more palatable to me.

    "I'm selling because..."

I don't care why you're selling it, and you going out of your way to mention it only raises my suspicions that you're trying to scam me.
