    I've heard if you sand the paint off it will sound better.

    ...not to mention that with a bit of tuning, you'll play faster.

    Sorry, but you need a vintage, UK made, Matchbox car for the best tone. Those new, cheap, MIC toy cars just don't sound same.

    That car needs to be up on cinderblocks before you can say you've effectively
    "blocked" your tremolo.
