Setting intonation on a les paul

Having trouble figuring out how to in a way that isn't a colossal PITA. The screws to adjust are on the side nearest the tailpiece.

I switch the saddles around and flip the bridge around the other way.

I just use a really small screwdriver. No difficulty.

Will it fit in beside the strings? I didn't think one would fit so I never tried.

It fits. The entire screwdriver is about the length of a finger. I'm sure your local hardware store will have something similar.

Flip the bridge so the screws are facing the pickups. It will be easier to moves the strings to the side a bit. Then use a smaller screwdriver.

I have tiny screwdrivers with long skinny shafts that get in there just fine.

As mentioned you can get in there fine with a small $2 pocket screwdriver. It helps to slacken the strings a few turns
