Hello, I a friend has asked me if I could help find a setup recommendation in Boston.
I am in NYC so I don't really know any one.
    Thanks, Chris

I highly recommend Steve Morrill. Excellent work and fair prices, and a really nice guy. Only place I will bring my guitars to in Boston.

Jim mooradian in Winchester is incredible but usually has a big back log of work. Peter at broken neck guitar repair is good too.

Mouradians can be backed up, but they are more than happy to take a look at your guitar when you walk in, fix any quick issues (often for free) and give you a time when they can work on it. That way, you can keep your guitar until they are free, rather than leaving it with them the whole time.
