Seymour Duncan Custom Pickup

I finally decided to order a pickup from Symour's custom shop in order to replace my Nighthawk's slanted bridge humbucker. What I am thinking about is an alnico 5 whose ouput should be slightly hotter from their stock '59 (8.13k= output of the stock '59). Basically, I need a slightly hotter ballsy PAF tone. Any experiences either of seymour's custom shop or of the stock '59? What about seymour's "Custom Custom" model?

The Custom Custom is a much hotter (14.4K) Alnico II pickup. It's extremely dark and thick-sounding, nothing like a PAF at all. The Custom V (same thing with an Alnico V magnet) is closer, but still a bit hotter than you may want.

I think what you describe is basically the confusingly named Screamin' Demon (it's just a slightly hotter '59). Never tried one but heard good things about them.

Thanks for your interest mate. I am not sure but i think that they won't be able to help me as the humbucker i am looking for is slanted which means that they would have to construct a new baseplate for me. Anyway i would mail them in order to solve this "mystery".
