Seymour Duncan Pup Question

Do Seymour Duncan pups ship with the lead cut in this manner ? The reason I ask is that I've only installed single coils in the past and they always had the leads stripped/tinned and ready to solder. A kid at work asked me to install this Dimebucker in his strat but I'm not sure my cheapo wire strippers will handle pup leads this small.

Yes the outer jacket is stripped back showing the four individual wires.

I use a sharp knife to score around the jacket carefully so as not to nick the wires inside.

Then you can use a stripper to strip the individual wires.
I think they are 24 gauge.
