I'm thinking about getting a clean boost and am looking at this one. most of the reviews talk about using it with single coils and how it gets them to sound more like humbuckers.

how does this work with a guitar with two humbuckers? can it just be used as a clean boost or is it mainly for single coil guitars to give it that extra umph in the pick ups

    thanks

I tried it and thought it was noisy. but it does thicken things up a bit.

I really like the Pickup Booster...it hasd a switch that can thicken things up but it can also be left flat...I think it's one of the best cleans boost pedals around and you sure can't beat the price!

Look for an RC Booster or Fulltone Fat Boost. Both can fatten things up a bit.
