I have an older SG that I put a Leo Quann Bad Ass bridge on years ago. That plus adding a brass nut helped the tone and sustain. I'm now thinking about adding a Bigsby. I like the way a B70 looks.

I'm wondering about 2 things - Will there be any issues with the string angle with the Bigsby and how do you think it'll effect the tone ?

    Anyone with experience ?

    Thanks - Al Z.

    B7's/B70's are for archtops.

The B5 at the ones for SG's

I put a B5 on my SG. Other than having a Bigsby on it, it didn't change anything else noticeably.

If you want to keep increasing sustain, then I will suggest putting some Tone-Pros locking studs.
