I know these guys arent for everyone and had a relatively smaller following but man they made some Great straight up Rock Guitar licks and imo a few pretty top notch R&R songs.
The Guitar work and tones Imo are some of The best.
I give you April Wine on this cold February day(Detroit).

They were the first band I ever saw at a concert. Awesome band, they wrote some really solid songs.

Brings back memories. Grew up on that stuff. My cousins and uncles had it on vinyl.

Loved them! I got to meet the drummer and other guitarist(not Miles) back in 82,83. They were pretty cool and could definitely ROCK!

Dance of the Gypsy Queen too. I saw these guys live in the late 90's, they put on a great show.

A Kim Mitchell thread, now April Wine, you guys are getting into the Can-rock. Anybody out there know the Rheostatics? Their album Whale Music is my favourite Canadian album.

Soundtrack to my HS days. Harder Faster is a great rock album.

Love their version of KC's 21st Century Schizoid Man.

If you ever get a chance, check out Randy Bachman's show Vinyl Tap on the radio, he plays a lot of great tunes and has awesome stories.

I love the ending of "I Like to Rock". That Day Tripper riff in there is really cool.

Bought a pedalboard off of Brian Greenway (who lives 10 mins away). Couldn't have been a nicer guy.
