    I know these guys arent for everyone and had a relatively smaller following but man they made some Great straight up Rock Guitar licks and imo a few pretty top notch R&R songs.
    The Guitar work and tones Imo are some of The best.
    I give you April Wine on this cold February day(Detroit).

    They were the first band I ever saw at a concert. Awesome band, they wrote some really solid songs.

    Brings back memories. Grew up on that stuff. My cousins and uncles had it on vinyl.

    Loved them! I got to meet the drummer and other guitarist(not Miles) back in 82,83. They were pretty cool and could definitely ROCK!

    Dance of the Gypsy Queen too. I saw these guys live in the late 90's, they put on a great show.

    A Kim Mitchell thread, now April Wine, you guys are getting into the Can-rock. Anybody out there know the Rheostatics? Their album Whale Music is my favourite Canadian album.

    Soundtrack to my HS days. Harder Faster is a great rock album.

    Love their version of KC's 21st Century Schizoid Man.

    Canadian Rock was quite played where I grew up in Michigan.

    If you ever get a chance, check out Randy Bachman's show Vinyl Tap on the radio, he plays a lot of great tunes and has awesome stories.

    I love the ending of "I Like to Rock". That Day Tripper riff in there is really cool.

    Used to play "Sign of The Gypsy Queen" and "Just Between You and Me" in a band a LONNNNNG time ago.

    Bought a pedalboard off of Brian Greenway (who lives 10 mins away). Couldn't have been a nicer guy.
