Shipping a neck alone...loosen truss rod?

Hi all- I am going to be shipping a neck from my Tele for some repairs. I imagine it will be off the guitar about a month at least. Should I loosen the truss rod once I take it off?

I would if for no other reason that you don't want to keep the neck bent in a back bow for a long period of time. Since it only take 5 seconds to relax the pressure, I'd do it.
