Anywhere is everywhere and nowhere is nothing.
I'm considering some Seymour Duncan pickups for a PRS. Typically, the mounting legs on these pickups are pretty long, and the cavities in my PRS aren't that deep.
In the past, I've heard of the ability to custom order a set with shorter mounting legs. Anybody hip to this? Does it take forever? Who's your favorite dealer for such a thing?

Yes, I could get another set of PRS pickups, but a set of S-D 59's would be a lot cheaper.
I've had some S-D long legged pickups in my McCarty before - they barely fit, with little to no room for downward adjustment. This new set will be going into a SC245, which has pretty shallow pickup cavities.

You can Special order Duncan’s with the short legs.
Your local dealer ought to be able to do it.
