As a Colts fan, I feel Brady should be suspended for four games starting with the first week of playoffs.

I think Greg Brady should be suspended. Peter and Bobby too.

I do. The NFL has a clause in their discipline policy where they need only reasonable proof to take action. Tom lying and throwing the locker room workers under the bus is pretty lousy. I also think he must think we're all pretty dumb not to think he was as clueless as he's letting on.

I don't think a few games would be out of line at all. Less than 8 though.

Suspend him for at least four games. However, these should be the last four games of the regular season.

There's no team I like to see lose more than the Patriots, and no one player I dislike more than Tom Brady. I'm a Ravens fan, and yes I dislike the Patriots more than the Steelers.

That said, 4-6 games is my vote. He cheated (or knowingly used illegal balls) plain and simple. Even if you argue it's "not that big of a difference," it's still cheating, and he lied about it.

Unfortunately we'll probably end up with the "Deflate-Rule", just like the damn "Tuck-Rule", and the "He touched my ankle-Rule", and the "I whine to the ref and get penalties on the other team-Rule." Ugh, he sucks. hahaha

I think the Patriots Super Bowl win should be rescinded and Tom Brady thrown out of the league, and he has to divorce his wife.......nah, just kidding about two of those things.....:huh

Not sure it matters, he'll still beat your team in the playoffs. :rotflmao On top of that he can rub it in when he walks by with his super model wife.

Probably less than 30 games would seem appropriate.

Could have just had two poll choices:
    I'm a Patriots fan
    I'm not a Patriots fan

I voted for two games. I feel like him lying about it is probably as bad as doctoring the balls.

What's surprising is how prevalent this apparently is. I'd like to see the NFL take control of the footballs rather than letting the teams control them.

I voted for 4 games. However, it’s more likely that the Patriots will lose their 2016 first round draft choice rather than Brady being suspended.

Every time I see Pats puffery on here, I instantly glance over at the poster's location. Always comes from a homer.

I voted for 1 game. A couple wouldn't be out of line. However, I'm not sure the act warrants more than a couple of games.

Unless, of course, you don't like Brady/Pats, then have him pilloried. As a Chiefs fan, I'm rather indifferent. Not a hater or fanboi.

I've been a Patriots fan for years. But, you can't let that come in the way of doing what's right. Tom definitely choked on this one. If he had spoken up in that first interview and simply said "yes, we kept the footballs inflated at the lower end of the acceptable range. I like them there. If we got them too low, well, it's my fault. We should not have let that happen. I will take care to make sure it does not happen again", things would have been different.

But, he seems to have chosen to lie.

And, I'm with guitarlifestyle, for me, his apparent lying about it is just as bad as doing it. I would hate to see him suspended, but, you mess with the rules, you pay the price.

I voted for 2 regular season games.

EDIT: When I looked at the poll results (as of the time of my post) I was really surprised to see that almost half of the votes seemed to be evenly divided between "0" and "more than 8". Do I read it correctly that half of the voters either really like him, or really hate him?
