    Thanks Michael! I bet those P-90 LPs KILL tonewise. I learned electric on a '61 SG Special with P-90s and it was a rockin' axe.

    Hey Rob, did your Deluxe originally have mini-humbuckers? I like the natural finish - it looks good even without fancy wood - my former '76 Custom was a 3PU natural.

    yeah, i figure it had to have come with minis, but i got it well used and was already routed for full-sized hums and had the mini-switches added. i did change the pickups to what's on it now though, it came with dimarzio dual tones.

    i wish it had been left be though, but then i probably wouldnt have been able to afford it.

    i love how natural maple guitars look when the laquer's had good time to yellow, the neck being maple too is nice and yellowed as well. its yellowed a bit more than the pic shows, i love it. i was going to get it refinished at one point, i'm VERY glad i didnt.

    your's sounds like it was a beauty. :dude
