Go for a GFS Dream 90. It's between a P90 and a Strat pickup sonically

Disassembled and wetsanded with a 400 grit to knock down the sheen, cleaned it with napatha. Measured and taped off the stripes (rub down the tape edges to stop bleed). Shot it with Lil Daddy Roth Cherry Pie Flake Rattlebomb. Shot a clear over it and that was about it, it photographed well but it wasn't perfect, I wasn't trying to be. I wanted it to look beat up fairly quickly. I used a cheapo blue fake to shoot the headstock and a silver to do the stars on it. I had a star stencil.

I would if I had kept it, the neck I ended up using wasn't very good so I sold it off.

I think I am going to do something similar again this summer. Not sure yet?

I actually used some Plasticoat Rattle Cans. It was a blue candy over that magenta, silver, and black.

I didn't paint this, but I couldn't resist showing it anyway; the guitar was painted in 2012 by a music-theme
painter named Hugo Rodriguez and I acquired her in 2014:

Hey, thanks! We are always happy to walk anyone through their own projects as well, for free. In fact, as I get older, I'm finding it almost as enjoyable being able to pass on any knowledge I can while I still can. :aok
