This is how mine stands at the moment. Thinking of swapping to a PolyTune Mini and some flatter cables to see if I can squeeze another pedal on - maybe a chorus...

could easily fit another pedal on there with some tetris.

Here is the latest version of my mini. I tried to stock it with my most versatile pedals. I'm also finally happy with a power setup for a PT mini. The Fuel Tank Jr is held down with velcro and zip strips. It required no drilling, doesn't take up any pedal space, has zero noise and fits in the case perfectly.

I should get a Loop Master Pedalboard Patch Box in a week or so. It will be zip stripped to the back rail. It will fix the tight fit on the output of the Reverberator. I'm pretty happy with this setup.

Do you think an ISO-5 could sit where your FT Jr. is?

I'm pretty sure the ISO 5 is wider. The Fuel Tank Jr just barely fits in there, which is great because you want a tight fit with no wobble. SO I'm going to guess no, but I would have to have one in hand to know for sure.

I have to say I'm impressed with the FTJr. I got it new for $90 (coupon code), it has 5 isolated outputs, it allows me to power all of the pedals on my mini and no drilling/hacking up the mini FTW!

I have a FT Chameleon on my Mini where the Jr is here (in the back slot). Maybe overkill, but I have a nice DI, Strymon Bluesky, etc. (it's an acoustic board).

Convenient is how my spare pedals put together and turned out to be a decent practice board.

You should put your Octron right after the tuner. I think it's best to have pitch effects first, no?

I was thinking the same thing. My Octron glitches out like crazy if I don't run it first in the chain.

Probably will replace the Danelectro trem with a Keely TR-2 at some point.

    Hey Guys-
Wanted a smallish board for the little "suburban t-ball dads" band I've been jamming with. :) I could certainly fit all I really need on a nano, but got this mini used and was able to squeeze some other goodies on there! I'll be wiring it up with Lava solderless.

Any suggestions on powering this? Thought about a onespot, but might be a taxing load for that. What are you guys using to cut the frame for PS mounting? I have an extra PP2+ that I suppose might work.

    Thanks.

I have a PT-Mini incoming that I'll be switching to, and I think I've seen some people mount larger power supplies directly onto the back of the lip on the board? One guy had a Cioks either velcro'd or ziptied on. Not sure if it fit in the bag though...I know people stick a Fuel Tank Jr. into the slot at the top and despite the height, it still fits in the bag.

EDIT: Actually yeah, if you're willing to daisy chain some pedals, you could definitely just use a Fuel Tank Jr. without having the cut anything or have the board be too bulky!

Well that isn't very punk, is it?

That power supply "trick" is a really great idea. Now if someone would only make one that's longer, and shorter. I don't know if this is possibly, since I don't know how their batteries are constructed, but it seems like a "longer" power supply would work excellently with the pedaltrain nano and minis, rather than trying to fit the conventional "block" ones.
