great thread w/ beautiful guitars y'all!

my main workhorse pedal steel is a 76' Emmons d10. THIS guitar is a 65' Emmons set up as a C6 guitar w/ 6x5. it came from the factory as 6x1, later went back for three other kl's. i added a vertical and changed it over to C6 around eight years ago. pic was taken right after i rebuilt it.

also have a bunch of lap steels.

Any pedal steel players playing in Greensboro, NC soon and willing to give me an overview of the pedal steel?

Is it hard to play or you just got to get used to it?
The palm levers do take some getting used to and are not for everyone. One thing to consider is they will change your right hand picking and muting technique and thats a deal breaker for many.

Here is another bender Belle I just finished.

I've seen/played his bluegrass dobros, but did not know he made electric steel guitars too. Nice; Bigsby-esque!!
Todd is a fantastic craftsman and his Bigsby reproductions are just stunning! If I didn't roll my own, a Clinesmith would be on my short list.

I swear, every time we have one of these threads I want to drive a dump truck full of money up to your house.

Unfortunately, I do not actually have a dump truck full of money.
