100% original and minty Oly white '63 Jazzmaster purchased from it's original owner in Hawaii a couple of years ago. Seller injured his hand in '64 which ended his playing career in his surf band. This JM had been resting in a closet for over 50 years before I acquired it. Luckily I saw this beauty at 2 am on our local Craigslist after a Honolulu Chinatown gig and I was the first to reply. In this photo it is joined by my '56 GT, '64 DR & '59 345 overlooking the Hudson. BTW, I added the Buzz Stop and yes, it's sounds killer and is an outstanding playing early JM!

Here's a L-series '65 jaguar I recently refretted, cleaned up and set-up properly. Relatively thin but well tapered neck, Brazilian RW board, pearloid dots and side dots, the pickups sound amazing:

@Laurent Brondel what are the metal brackets on the pickups for? I've only come across one Jag and that was nearly 30 years ago, I've always been curious but have never remembered to ask.

    The "claws"?
They're connected to ground and presumably shield the pickups.

1966 MusicmasterII. I'm the original owner. My parents bought it for me in March 1968, it had hung on the dealer's wall a while before it became mine.

Recently restored for me by a good friend.

59 Slabboard refin, it’s kind of a funky green-gold color but I’m afraid to refin it as it sounds so freaking good the way it is. Under there it was a few layers of paint including Fiesta Red and I assume Sunburst but it’s staying fugly for the tone! And I just realized I have NO good pictures of this guitar, it's worn a mint green guard for about two years and I don't have a single newer photo of it, too funny. Here's a few shots that I do have:

I cracked the case and took a shot after realizing I had no good pictures of this guitar (a crime in itself!). FYI the original Tort' guard is screwed down on a board so it won't shrink any further while not mounted on a guitar. The green guard just looks so much better than the Tort with this funky paint. If and when I ever refinish the guitar the original guard will go back on, Oly White, Sonic Blue but I'm not messing with it anytime soon.
