Here is mine. An awesome BLUESQUEEN
Very nice one! I love the color.
This one should look familiar to fatherjacques!
It's a Bluesbaby with a bound neck.
Brian did a great job on this one. I miss it.
this one has feel and tone that I can't really describe...none of my pics do this gtr justice (doesn't show any of the birds eye and flame)...its just a stunner.........what a build...Brian, you are da best !
I remember the words of Robert Benedetto something to the affect: "with a solid wood guitar (as apposed to ply) you can achieve a deeper level of possibilites" (canadian spelling )
.....and I agree with regard to this gtr: which is basically an ES 345 with solid woods instead of ply, but having owned several real es 345's (59, 60, 61, 66, 68...all gone now...and no desire to get another really..), this gtr has that dry woody response with killer midrange that ESxxx gtrs possess.......but with the solid woods...seems to have even more expression, depending on how you play and where your right hand is placed......ok, gush over
p.s. should I varitone it ?? (was debating during build...and held off)
I love it when someone on this site drops a new builder I have never heard of...excellent!!
Brian is hardly new - he has been building for close to 40 years now!!
He loves what he is doing. I can attest he knows what he is doing. I have seen at least 3 or 4 real 59 Les PAUL to restaure at the same time while I was there.
We will discuss of my next built with good foosd and wine on Saturday
His guitars are (were) enjoyed by Billy Gibbons, Walter Becker, Jordan John and many other "names". Still he remains under the radar for most part. If you need guitar that sings the blues or swings the jazz give him a call.
He is very busy though
Mine when she was born
I feel very privileged to have one of Brian's guitars....it exceeded all my expectations.... he is so down to earth and "real" in world full of bs....so refreshingly awesome ! great , great builder.
Brian was a pleasure to work with with my custom build. My Bluesmaster is 3 years old and I've had zero issues. I haven't even had to adjust the truss rod yet.
I hesitate to say his instruments are good value, because spending thousands of dollars on a guitar is nothing to sneeze at. I also don't want to say it because I feel like this somehow cheapens an instrument with all the cork sniffing that goes around here.
What I would say is that you can spend more on an instrument, but you won't get a better one. If the world were just, Brian's guitars would command twice the price he sells them for.
I couldn't agree more Thrillhouse, and what a killer Bluesmaster you have...I'm pretty sure none of the pics do these gtrs justice...everytime I get to hold one in person...its special...pics just don't cut it ))
p.s. those bluesbaby's are tone monster's as well !
I've switched to Imgur from Photobucket. Well... in the process of switching, more precisely...
In your post above, all we see is a broken img tag in the post, and if we try opening the link in another tab, all we get is:
damn you google ! ...ok I'll repost these pics with imgur much thanks ! Pics fixed..sorry for the hasstles gents...its been a while since I've been on here. Enjoy your Monty's well !
Awesomr. LEAVE IT LIKE THAT. YOU DO NOT NEED VARITONE
