Really nice sentiment. I find myself counting my many blessings lately, and in addition to family and friends... to own a few guitars from people passionate about their craft is pretty cool.

In the fun facts category for the Huber fans

I found out that my Orca (first post in this thread) had a matching twin Dolphin made at the same time and was told they were the first two Hubers to use Eastern Maple tops!

Just a fun fact given I love the history around guitars and amps and am always interested in the stories. Have never seen the twin... but would be fun to run across it.

What a gorgeous bunch of guitars! I was hoping maybe someone would put up pix of an Orca I saw on Wilcutt's site a couple of years ago. It was a figured cedar top model and had the "full snakewood package" -- snakewood fingerboard, buttons, etc. Incredible looking!

As it happens, this one is for sale in Fort Worth right now, so you could probably check it out in person.

So what could be better than a blingtastic Orca? Why not a matching Dolphin!

    Just amazing!

Mine (first post) also has a twin dolphin somewhere out in the wild... however not sure it would be readily apparent like these! With any luck it might surface in this thread :)

If you still have this guitar and are looking for a kickass strat, I have this Rocketfire. I'll add cash.

What an awesome New Gear Day! My Krautster II and RevivalDrive Custom both arrived today. :banana

I get what you all were raving about now - I’ve never picked up a guitar and immediately had it feel this...magical. It’s crazy. It feels broken in, the body and neck seem to melt into me.

I feel like I can do anything on this guitar. The neck is the regular profile and is easily the best I’ve ever felt in shape, size and finish. I’ve had a bunch of top shelf new and vintage guitars. This one is on a whole new level, though. It’s a masterpiece.

Excuse the messy picture. The ol’ music room is being reorganized and pedal order currently being tested. :D
