1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Redesigned my Groundswell board for a small covers project I’m getting into. If it works out I’ll get a bigger board, but this should get me started.

Some small changes in the last month.
The Golden Plexi is a place-holder for a medium gain drive. I've been trying so many medium-gainers (Marvel, 45 Cal, Direct Drive, Bogner Blue, La Grange, Gain Changer, Mandragora, Strawberry Red OD...) but none has stuck. It's not that they are bad pedals; I just need the med-gainer to sound similar in the top-end to my EVH5150. I don't like it when the tone totally changes when I switch sounds; I like some overlap in the frequencies. I have a Plexitone Lo Gain incoming. If thats not working out the GP is staying. Then I can fit one more pedal on there :)

    Finally.

Truetone CS7. One of the few power supplies that met my needs without going over-the-top and shelling out for a much larger and beefy unit. A few weird power requirements:

Neo vent 2 - 12V centre positive and high current, ~250mA
Diamond memory lane 2 - 18V centre positive ~160mA. It says 24V on the unit itself but the manual states 18V-24V is fine. It’s regulated(?) to 15V internally anyway.
Trelicopter - 12V by choice, low current.
    Gigrig qmx 6. 9V 300mA
Three low current ODs. 9V each
    Evidence audio patch cables

New pedal day, so I'll post again. And I think I'll make no changes for a while. Kicked the Afterneath and Transmisser to the curb (brilliant pedals, but I need to simplify my signal path as stacking loops needs as much transparency in the tone, those two just added noise), and swapped out the Dunes for a JHS Morning Glory. I'm overdue for getting a JHS as I'm a lifelong Kansas Citian.

Super simple path, despite all the twists and turns due to the Infinity Looper and Beatbuddy.
Polytune->EHX Pitchfork->JHS Morning Glory->Wampler Tumnus (hidden under the board, always on, as a clean boost/preamp)->EQD Avalanche Run w/expression pedal->Pigtronix Infinity(midi sync/slaved to the Beatbuddy)->BBE Sonic Maximizer (always on, hidden under the board)->Mesa Boogie

Midi synced Beatbuddy runs into the EQD Dispatch Master and Marshall.

Xotic wah > TCE polytune3 > digitech whammy V > hotone noise gate > pigtronix philsophers tone micro compressor > wampler tumnus > wampler euphoria > keeley dark side > wampler faux tape echo > Lovepedal blue wave tremolo > MXR 10 band EQ > Orange Two Stroke parametric EQ

Also my Marshall origin footswitch. And an integrated mic stand base. (Not sure if I’ll use this yet).

Underneath is a MXR iso brick and the whammy has its own separate power supply wall wart.
