Huge rework on this pedalboard in the last week. I added a second Road Rage TB looper strip for the pedals going into the FX Loop of my Mesa Roadster, and the whole rig sounds way better now. I guess those old PH-2s and the other modulation pedals were really affecting the tone. More clarity and volume between the channels using the FX Loop or not. This TB Looper also goes in a Shifter Switch from Bright Onions Pedals to route the pedals between the front or FX Loop of the amp.
I added some Pedaltrain Boosters on the second row, and cleaned up the cables under the board. Super happy with the result.

I like the pico-pre better than the preamp in the BED. This is the first time I’ve used them both on the same board and so far it seems to work with the BED in true bypass mode

I'm thinking I need to get a Pico-pre for my smaller board.

    Current board.

    Path is tuner>Timmy> Bad Horse (lead boost)> Boogie V35; MXR> NUX> HoF> loop.

Tried running everything into the front of the amp for a 2 cable method and the Boogie don’t like that. Tried running it all in the loop in a 3CM to try to simplify a bit and it was noisy. 4CM it is.

Considering adding a Boss MS-3 or going in another direction like Headrush or Helix. If one of them can reproduce what I have on my current board at a minimum I’ll do it. That Phase 100 does something very special I don’t hear from any other MFX phaser. My main gig is as the Mick Jones in a Clash tribute and the Phase 100 was the cornerstone of his sound. To me the MXR 90 doesn’t sound close. Willing to sell off everything else if I can reproduce it all, (minus the Timmy, that will always stay with me, was without it for a few weeks while Paul fixed it and I was having withdrawals).

Swapped out my Neunaber Immerse with the Source Audio True Spring...and I have to say it plays REALLY nicely with the Echoplex. The Immerse is obviously an incredible pedal...but the Spring in it leaves a little to be desired...and it is far and away my favorite reverb. The included tremolo in the True Spring is just a bonus...and with the Source Audio "tap" switch that can turn the Trem on and off, it's a killer compact pedal...

I decided to go back to using TC Nova System. It just works: so many useful features + great sounds + reliability in one nice package!

Really curious as to what's the rest of the rig and what you play.

Regular davies 1900 knobs with set screw. They fit those mini knobs well.
I only use white pancakes and mini davies usually, but ran out.
(although black works due to the color scheme of the ElecLady)
They are the easiest to see under any lighting condition for me.
Put a washer underneath if you need more friction.

The entire rig is a Reverend Mike Watt prototype, the above board, into a Markbass LMII head and GK Neo 115. Not much going on, but potential for super weirdness.

Just put this board together based around a 2006 KOT I just got. This one sounds exceptional and better than a recent one I had a couple years ago. Don't know why. Board is for my old Deluxe Reverb.

Probably the trim pots were not exactly in the same position and it makes it sound diferent.
Nice board BTW. A KoT clone and a Supa-trem are the two pedals I have in my board that I like most.

Hmm, maybe. I always have them set all the way down though. I think I've had 6 or 7 KOTs now- maybe more including a few V2 version. The last one I had- direct from Analogman- was very boxy sounding and I sold it right away. Always used them with my 64 Deluxe Reverb- really great combo.
