Welp, here we are. I’m embracing the odd, and practicing Patience and acceptance. Pedals like Particle, Habit and Microcosm would eventually frustrate me as sometimes it takes time to get what you want from them and I’d throw my hands up wanting to simplify and sell em. I don’t need to be in a rush. Not every day has to produce something “good”.

I am having fun and trying to be easier on myself.

Just a couple of changes to my board since the last time I showed it on TGP at least a year ago. Barely visible beneath the Xotic Effects SP Compressor is a Strymon Zuma R300 DC Power Supply that is affixed to the underside of the board, as is an always-on ClinchFX Pico PRE (completely hidden below the Subdecay Quasar). I really like this combination — so much so, in fact, that I am not really looking at buying any other pedals.

Is that a Klon style drive in front of the Groovy Wizard? If so, how does it take it?

I’ve added the MXR CBMOD back and it’s in the HXFX loop. Keeley Fuzz Head is in the other loop.

HXFX itself is in front of my amp and the Stomp is in the amp’s loop.

I’m really loving this setup. Super versatile and better sounding/feeling than just the HXFX in 4cm.

HXFX is controlling the Stomp with midi as well as changing channels on my amp with a Suhr Micro Midi.

this might be slightly off topic. for those of you who have more pedals than what you're displaying on your pedalboards, where do you keep the pedals you're not using? do you keep them in the original boxes, have shelves or cabinets that you display them on, etc.?

The ones I have boxes for reside in them, right next to the empty boxes of the stuff I’m actually using, in a dresser in the basement.
There’s a drawer (organized by model) for guitar parts, some pedal stuff, amp foot switches I’ll never use, even a couple of these things called books.
