So the dmm is just being used for the mod or you just mean modulated delay? Looks like a great setup and into one of my favorite amps.
modulated delay for me....but it's very convenient to shut the delay down and use just the mod too.

An all MXR just for fun. The fuzz is powered by a battery, as it should be. Tempted to use the CC on 18V (the MXR Mini Iso Brick has got a switchable tap) but not sure if that will fry the pedal.

no issues with cc at 18v (thats how I use mine) its the cc deluxe that must be powered at 9v only (dont know for the mini)

I think it’s fantastic.
I was using a strymon flint before and for my purposes, the surfy is killer. Sold the flint almost immediatly.
I’m not using it for surf sounds but rather as semi-subtle spring reverb into clean(ish) amps. The drip is there for fun moments though…
Definitely recommended
have you ever compared it with Strymon El Capistan?

The real question you should be asking is why 2 volume pedals and who else used a Rotosound Fuzz Box from 1966 (sorry Nick)
That ugly face face has been Arbiter'd

Why is everyone giving away their secrets. You haven't gotten mine.
Alright, be inscrutable then. Fine.

Right now my nano board is extremely inspiring to play and it sounds amazing! I initially made it to use when I’m singing a lot, but it has quickly become my favorite. The Nordland ODR-C has quickly become my favorite overdrive pedal. With a Jackson audio Bloom v2 right before, I get all the shades of gain I’d need for what I do. I set the blooms eq to mimic a tube screamer/klone to shape the drive sound to something different if needed, or I’ll use the eq to set things how I like it if I will be changing guitars mid set just to level things. Very cool. My big board is under construction as I will be buying a second nordland to put on that board.

Biggest change in quite a while. Using this board for at home use. Lots of looping and reverb-washy mellow stuff. I just got the Golden and I’m really looking forward to digging into it. CT5 into the Volante SOS is a revelation-I’m having lots of fun with it.
Bonus close up of the Sweetwater exclusive Iridium, because their photos don’t do the finish justice. Much more sparkle than is represented in the photos online.

Here is my update after getting the rock board patch cables and the proper power supply. Unfortunately I had to swap the Sib Mr Echo out for the WH Aqua Puss because none of the reverse polarity converter cables I have seem to work and won't power the pedal.

Chain:

Vick Audio Overdriver (15 vDC)
PedalPCB Paragon Mini (KoT) (12 vDC)
Aion FX Ares (Clinch EP Pre/CT Secret Pre Hybrid)
El Cap
Flint
Pure Tone buffer
TC Ditto

Ditto is sitting on the power supply and I have a Saturnworks 2 button favorite switch for the Strymons.

I don't think there is a real comparison there. I have tried the el cap in a store once but didn't give the reverb function much attention. I recall i didn't love it.
sorry I was really inattentive.
I wanted to refer to my reverb: Meris Mercury 7, but I wrote about my delay!
So, how do you compare it with the Mercury 7?

Still tweaking. Tuner > Comp > Wah > Boost > Dirt Pedals to front of the amp. Univibe > Chorus > Phaser > Flanger > Equalizer > Delay > Reverb/Trem thru the effects loop. I don’t stack my dirt pedals so order means little. Still not sure about the wah, I don’t use it a lot.

My board has undergone several iterations over the past couple of years. I went down the MIDI rabbit hole and had a nearly all-MIDI board only to find out that I spent more time with my board plugged into a computer than a guitar. So I went back to a more traditional setup and am happy with it. Here is my 2022 setup with no plans to change anything (unless my name comes up for a KoT).

I'd try Tuner> Muff > Vibe > Wah > Comp > EQ > Phase > Flanger > Distortion > Overdrive > Chorus > Delay > Reverb/Trem - But do what you think sounds best...

trying out different sounds at the moment; it's fun the way it is right now.

also, I've realised the Barbershop really does work better into an already overdriven amp, be it on its own or with another overdrive pedal. into a clean amp I get some Radiohead/In Rainbows kinda sounds but then it is very dry and a bit hard to play like that because of the way the Barbershop does not add any compression.

I used to have tuner > comp > Wah > fuzz > vibe. Sounded great with my Blues Jr. Not so great with my Traynor.

Twin Bender > polytune > Kilt > OD11 > Broadcast > Collider > Hx Stomp. Cs7 is powering this on a Classic Jr pedalboard.

Really enjoying this setup. The broadcast is new and a keeper, using it has a boost and pre amp. I swap between the OD11 and Kilt depending on the sound I want. Kilt is fun with the higher gain switches and the OD11 pairs well with the fuzz. Hx Stomp is handling other effects and on occasion amps. I have a Mythos Argonaut on the way to try out.
