Here's my ca. 1972 '58 ('54) reissue. The Badass was on it when I bought it. The finish crack seems to be at a seam in the top. The pickup rings were missing when I got it and it had Grovers which I replaced with Gibson-branded Klusons.
Man that is stellar! Wow
Thanks! Actuality got this here on the Gear Page back in '13.
Here is one with it's original wraptail but the Bigsby came with it and I presume that it has been with the guitar for most if not all of it's life. I had to source out the late 50's rocker bridge so it would stay in tune. The holes were pre-existing so I didn't feel guilty putting the vibrato back on! Love it!
I have the same guitar, ‘53 with bigsby... I call her “two face” due that I switch back and forth between the bigsby and stop tailpiece....
The Bigsby stays on mine but all of it's other parts stay in the case. I have some Juniors with the wraptial so that keeps the desire down to switch it out, lol!
