Back in the late 80s, some good friends of mine were in a band..."Alister Crowley" I went to school with the bass player and i frequented thier practices, became their official photographer and loyal follower. Paul the lead guitar player's main axe was a Peavey VANDENBERG...an evil looking metal machine. Another good guitar buddy of mine also has a Vandenberg and he let me play it a while back and ever since i have been searching for one....i finally found one!!!! I'm not sure what year it was made...im guessing '88. USA MADE Peavey, neck-thru, maple board, reverse headstock, 24 fret. There are becomming pretty rare, from what i'm told...they kinda have a cult following. It has Dimarzio pups, not stock, but they sound pretty darn good! It is in killer condition for its age and being a metal axe, which usually get beat up pretty good.
