I'm looking at a couple different delay pedals, the tech 21 boost D.L.A. and the seymour duncan deja vu. Both are digital delays that can also behave like analog delays.

My question is- when these pedals are in buffered bypass, does my signal still go through the A/D and D/A conversion? Or is the digital processing bypassed somehow?

I'm sure many will try to steer me into different directions. If so, the pedal needs to have tap tempo, shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred bucks and should be able to self oscillate easily. I've tried the EH deluxe memory boy but I'm not sure I dig it. Too dirty.
