Here's the Overview (NEW) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWwMCvhDDsM
That sounds so much better than what was on their site!
Any particular reason why you chose to flag it with other pedal maker's products? I'd be a little PO'd if I were them...
I think you just sold a bunch of them!
Nice tones and playing :AOK
I respectfully ask that you please delete this comment. You are above this. I think this is a refuge for most of us.
Nice playing Jack.
You don't find it a little questionable using other established pedals reputations to highlight a new unknown product?
^^ I don't have a dog in this race, and I don't want to comment on propriety, but I have to admit it was a little confusing to see that when I opened up the clip.
Awesome clip, though!
I guess I'm too laid back here in Cali. What is the damage to Alf? BTMB did not post this. I will not comment again. I hope all is well with your buisness, You make fine products. -p
Damn, Jack, that was really bad ass.
I know it's billed as an "overdrive," but it sounds a lot like a very refined, intense fuzz, especially on note decay. Very, very nice.
thx for the fabulous demo ...
don't need to say that this is fantastic playing too ...
would it be possible to make a comparison video,
like the one donner did with the dumblelike pedals?
Sounds great, but how does it respond to picking dynamics? thanks!
By the way, i deleted the tagging out of the heading. You're right, that that shouldn't be there.
The purpose of tagging is for search engines and I do that on all the reviews so that folks who are comparing tones of related products can see more of them at a glance. By the way, if you want to lend me a pedal or two, i'd be happy to do a review for you. no hard feelings.
i don't have enough od pedals to do a shootout.
None here either, Jack.
Sorry - I shouldn't have come across so caustic in my initial comment.
No problem. As I said, if you want to lend me a pedal or two to demo contact me offline.
My appologies for getting involved. Peace to all.
btw, mine should be here tomorrow. woohoo!
I got an email from Keith stating he thought he might have left the manual out of my box, so he sent me a PDF. In it there are settings for Tubescreamer, Rat, DS1, 2 Muffs, Fuzz Face, Tonebender Mk2, Dist+, 250, and Shredmaster. (The TS sound uses B & T on minimum so that midrange is proportionally bigger.)
That they didn't even have a "Dumbleish" setting when releasing the pedal and manual shows that it really can do more than they intended. Wonder if it can sound like an Eternity too? Maybe somewhere between a TS and Dumble setting. Jack might be able to tell.
One thing to note, current draw is 70 mA. Most overdrives are only 10-20, so it would likely eat batteries faster than most ODs.
Very nice playing - thanks for the demo.
Based on the demo, I would tend to call this a fuzz pedal and not an OD - lots of sustain and very hairy tones coming out, but not a lot of low-end definition and pick artiulation. One thing I will say for it, it doesn't sound like a tube screamer!
I wish I had the PDF file before I did the overview. I'll record another one using the suggested presets when I get time .
If this is't hype (and it doesn't seem to be), then I'd get it and free up some space.
