1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Well i was finally able to get around to this one - thanks JohnFindlay for an astoundingly well crafted track!!!

I had a hard time with this one - i'm so influenced, no saturated with Lowell and Paul Barrere both that i had a very hard time "breaking out" of the song... so i just said "screw it" and went with it :)

Sometimes it just makes more sense to "cover" the song. ;)

I could listen to this all night! :D

    ya!-liken it !- hahahah-you play the melody great-what a great idea--instrumental version/ tribute to Little Feat!

    nice tone/feel as well!

-it is VERY hard to break the code on the structure of this-but youve done a great job!:AOK

i seem to recall takin' the jazz approach to this-playin on all the chromatic chord changes etc.--sounded bogus when I did it-but in sure someone like scottL would have no problem

    nice outro soloin' too......

almost no "real gear" was used in the making of this take ;)

1996 "50th anniversary" MIA Strat (neck pickup) -> Vox AD30VT modelling amp -> line out to Mbox/ProTools -> "Guitar Rig" plugin for Cabinet simulation, reverb & delay.

I need to have this playing around me when I walk down the street. I'd be one cool cat!

    Sounds great!

Oh, man, it's late at night, I got the ear-goggles on, and it's all I can do to not sing this sucker! If the famiglia wasn't across the hall, I'd sing over this all night, maybe take a solo on guitar. Great groove. WELL DONE!!
