I thought I saw a pic and some info here recently about a deluxe version of this pedal? Any info and pics would be much appreciated.

I believe the deluxe version brings the presence and input gain trimmer out onto the pedal face with standard knobs. I own and absolutely love the lunar module, seriously the most versatile FF style pedal I have ever played,
by far, the only thing that could make the standard better is the trimmers becoming actual knobs like on the deluxe. If I could do it again, i would definitely go deluxe, but I am also very tweaky with fuzz. Also not complaining at all about my standard.

I am looking to add a silicon fuzz face to my rig-I am doing mainly rootsy/americana/alt.country rock and have also considered the Analog Man BC108. I am concerned the Lunar Module is tuned too much into the early Gilmour stuff?

Ive got the standard LM and it is the best sounding pedal I have. It just sounds amazing when its on. It snarls. I dont think its only purpose was to nail early Gilmour. Ive been experimenting with it on other types of music and it just really is a killer pedal. Its got me gassing for other Skreddy stuff. It really sounds killer with a chorus pedal. Im using the Boss CH-1 Super chorus. I want to buy another one just so I got one! :drool. I would like to get the moon graphic next.

I haven't had it for to long (only gigged 3 times) but my impression is that the LM can do way more than just gilmore, although it can do that too. The presence, input gain and sharpness really take the versatilty to another level. It has stopped my search for a si FF unit. I would bet the analogman is great as well though as I have owned 3 of his ge sunface's and we all know the quaity of his work. I thought i saw the deluxe picture on skreddy's site a while back, is it gone? Good luck on your search.

I think you'll find the lunar module will do a lot more than gilmour. Gilmour was just so iconic with the si fuzz tones that it's an easy frame of reference. I think the LM would work well for the harder alt country solos. Nels Cline uses a fuzz factory with Wilco, a pedal I wouldn't have thought of in that context at first.

The LM Deluxe is rare though. I've only seen one pop up for sale used. You could contact Marc directly about buying one new, but I think the Skreddy lead time is about 6 months now...not sure if a custom order would make that even longer. I think you'd be happy with a standard LM they pop up in the Emporium all of the time.

...I got one! :) Can't get a picture of it until I get home from vacation in a few weeks though. Anyway, it looks just like a screwdriver deluxe, dimension-wise. Oh, and it rips!

I didn't think he was offering the Deluxe Lunar Modules again....

IMHO, The genius behind the Lunar Module is the Body control. From a wooly fuzz to a smooth overdrive (especially when you roll the range back). There are a wealth of sounds behind it all. I like the LM set to Marc's preferred settings and let it go from there...amazing!

I've got one on the way...bought it off a member here on TGP. so freaking excited.

I really want to have the Lunar Module Deluxe (check!) and a Screwdriver Deluxe side by side on my board- good combo, and way functional with the trims on top as knobs. Anyone have both these pedals?
