Is it worth getting an 18v adapter for the SL Drive? Anyone tried it? Been using the super bass mode stacked with a fuzz, but feel it needs a bit more girth/body or something and more open sounding.

I'd do it. I generally prefer drive pedals at 18v if it can handle it. Girth and body is exactly what happens. Had an SL Drive for awhile but never tried it at 18v. Wish I would have.

YES! Running at higher voltage is a game-changer with this pedal. I like it at 15V on the Xotix voltage doubler myself. Makes it smoother, more open and less compressed.
