Slick Guitars

Has anyone had any experience with the Slick Guitars that GuitarFetish offers? The SL59 has my attention, and $200 don't like too bad of a price. I'm not planning on picking one up anytime soon; just wondering if anyone here has seen or tried some.

I have seen two of them (used) at my local GC.

They look like they were carved in wood shop by a sight-impaired person.

I would say you can do better for $200.

+1 The one that I've seen was all around rough in texture and quality as well. I'm a big fan of Earl but not of these guitars. Another $50 to $100 will get you into a low end LTD, Ibanez, Squire, etc. which will likely have much better fit, finish, and playability.

I saw this used one at GC a few months back. It looked cool - But honestly, after playing it, I don't know if it was even worth the $175.. The bridge was really sunken into the body - making string changes a bit dicey, in my opinion.

Plus, it weighed a TON..
