With that groove Ted, I think that I rich clean tone would work better. Throw down a nice clean tone of some kind. The overdriven tone that you are using sounds a bit raspy. M.E.
I agree, upon several re-listens it sounds almost like clipping at the recording stage which it might be a tad, I'll try a cleaner version this weekend. Thanks.
Or, smooth out the tone by running the signal thru multiple layers of chorus, then delay. More fx please.
i think i fixed some clipping. Thanks Greg.
I'm confused. Seriously
I do believe "Greggy" was being sarcastic.
I do believe that it was un-necessary. M.E.
Surfing with the (Resident) Alien!
when I just listen to this tune, I hear confusion and dissonance, but it was part of a mini-rock opera (like Tommy...) where all these influences from watching the impact of the storm damages on TV were giving creative influence.
Inspiration can come from the most surprising sources. Let it flow.
its bizarre ..but fits great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's bad trippy though, I almost wonder if I should take it down, I wouldn't want someone going Charlie Manson from listening to my tunes...
Prune juice kicked in, eh?
Yes !! Birds are a nice touch to any rock anthem - I think you might try dolfins next time. Just a thought
Actually I was asking Ted.
Tedm dont quit your day job!

Your post seem to be a bit of a game.
If you continue to want to play around with the guitar after all of this time, I'd suggest some serious lessons. No offence, but you really dont seem to want to put forth any effort or the time. So why stir the pot here? Again, no offence, but you lack natural playing ability. That doesnt mean that you wont be good at something else though. Maybe photography or something.
I am not trying to bash you but just being honest. You have almost a 4 year history of doing this.
I'm not "buying" any of this. And I'll leave it at that. For now.
I was trying to imagine a scenario where you could play this for an audience and there it is...in support of a visual piece on the storm or some other disaster. If that was your inspiration, then I think it works in support of a multi-media piece. Taken on it's own, I would think that it is too disturbing for most people to bond with. It would probably give them vertigo.
Does most of your inspiration come from visual images?
From what you know about why people listen to and enjoy music, can you tell me what aspects of your clips you think people will enjoy and why? It's OK if you don't care... just wondering if you are attempting to appeal to anyone or just trying to please yourself.

I kind of saw it behind a slow-motion shot of a man with fishooks in both eyes screaming in Chinese at a passing freight train.
I hear a little Albert Lee influence in there. Was that intentional, Ted?
