Small Craigslist Rant

    Have you ever sold a guitar for less than you wanted to get, only to find it for sale later by that buyer for a lot more than he bought it for? I guess I should wish the guy well in the spirit of capitalism and free enterprise, but DARN!

    It was a one-off prototype for a model that never got into production from a manufacturer that isn't particularly high on anybody's list lately (Schecter). A thing of beauty that played like a dream. I won't identify it further because if you've been checking the LA CL you'd recognize it. I let myself get hammered down in my price because I needed some cash at the time. Oh well, rant over. It's not like I've never done anything similar....

    Rest assured, he'll have just as hard of time selling it as you did. Except now he's not the original owner.

    Really? I'm glad to hear it. They're nice folks, and some awfully nice stuff has come out of their custom shop.
