WHOA. At a $299 price point, this thing is primed to scoop up some serious spare change out there! And you can switch the 15W to 5W - all tube 6V6 goodness, hmm!

I want one!

299 are you kidding. I can find a million uses for an extra amp like that laying around.

Should be TS green.

Oh my!!!! Do you realize what you said?? That is brilliant marketing. You really should drop their marking staff an email. You have this thread to prove that you said it first.

When is that last time you saw green tolex on any amp. tooo coool!:dude

The green color used on their lattest Tubescreamer HW would be reeeeally cool, IMO.

Aside from the terrible color I'm wondering about a couple of things:

Why just treble and bass controls? Many amps need a middle tone control or mid boost to get a fatter tone.

Does it have an effects loop? Because if it doesn't have an effects loop then just imagine plugging in your favorite delay or chorus before your TS9, because that what this amp will be doing. I'll be curious to see if it has a loop.

Where is the "grab an go" combo?

That demo was a horrible, inept buzzfest. You'd think if they went to all the trouble to build this cool thing, they'd show it off right.

Why are most demos of amps performed only with the amp dimed and the clown playing the demo doing nothing but hair band metal poser riffs for 12 year olds???

The proof of an amp is in the cleans and the semi-grind. All amps dimed sound about the same, especially through crappy vidcam mikes. Buy a clue, amp makers. The instant your new amp hits the floor, make sure a pro player has done a proper vid for it, including cleans and early breakup phases. Not just Spinal Tap parodies.

Unless you don't want anybody to hear your amp's cleans. Maybe this is like those films where they don't allow critics to do an early review because it's dreck. It's not like Ibanez has a great rep building amps. Have they EVER built a tube amp??? Did they hire a third-party to design and build this for them?

Maybe it sucks clean.

Yet another cheap offshore tube amp that is trying to leverage the image of a product that used to be cool...

Does it have stainless steel screws? :D

Well as a guy who loves 6V6's there is hope for this little bastard. It's actually hard to make 6V6s sound like crap. And what if this ends up streeting for $249!
