I need a recommendation. I generally haven't liked fuzz and have been disappointed with the few I've tried, but I want to add some sweet, controlled fuzz to my chain. I've been reading lots of threads and listening to lots of clips. I think I've narrowed it down to two:
    • Keeley Fuzz Head
    • Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe
I want low noise and natural guitar tone. I play mostly humbuckers, but single coils as well. I play into a clean, quiet amp. I like to combine pedals: delay, reverb, OD, some compression. What's the better choice between these two? Thanks.

    :huh

First thing I think when I think "smooth fuzz:" Himmelstrutz Gramps.

    Good suggestion.

I also have a Scaraf Deluxe which is great and I'd also suggest the Pharaoh.
