The first used klon I bought I got for $300 (a new silver version)

After I sold it for even, the next one I bought for $350 and sold it for even.

So now... what the hell?? I've been checking ebay because I'm interested and the prices are just stupid. Is it possible to get a new/used klon for under $350?

(See curent ebay auction for a new klon at $530 with 4 days to go)

    Buy from Bill, it's a no-brainer.

I guess I'm not skilled enough to navigate that site.
I've been there many times and can't find the place to price and order a Klon. I just seem to get lost in this endless cycle of super closeup pics. I can't seem to fit the pictures together to make one picture.

Is there a secret page somewhere which just shows the details, specs, prices, options?

(PS: Sorry If I hijacked your thread.)

I was going to call when I was ready to give up a VISA card number.

Can you still get the gold ones with the Centaur graphic?

As far as I know, no. The only ones you can get are plain silver. Bill doesn't want to use that graphic any more and all the new ones I've seen are silver not gold.

    Hey Chuck ...
I placed an order for one recently. You can't actually order through the website, you have to call him. He doesn't take credit cards. You have to mail him a check and the date he receives it is the start date of your 10 to 12 week wait.

A nice alternative is to buy through The Perfect Note: http://www.tpngear.com/klon.htm

You can use a credit card through them and the wait time is the same. Keep in mind, if you talk to Bill first, he won't appreciate it if you try to then place the order through Perfect Note.

    I never understand guitar economics.:messedup

Pay $329 for a new one, or spend way more for a used one. They are identical except for cosmetics.

I guess if you have to have it now...now..NOW, that's worth something.

To be 100% honest, if I'd have known what I know now about the Klon when I was ordering mine from Bill, I'd have paid the higher price to have it now, simply because it's such an amazing pedal.

Just my two cents of course.:hiP

Interesting that there is one bidder who kept bidding against himself, did anyone else notice that? I'm not up on how that all works, but why make all those bids in a row??

Yea, that's the kicker. Six months ago I could pick one up between $300-$350 no problem (and I did. twice)

I don't understand the current trend.... maybe it will cool off?

It's not orange. It's one of the new gold colored ones. I have the same thing.
