So, given a choose, which of these would you prefer, be honest and hold nothing back

Mark King's bass looks and sounds awesome, but then I haven't played it so I don't know. I like my current one today. I miss my old Ibanez bass tho and right now I would say that was my favorite bass ever..have to get another one

E, the stacked knob jazz, is my top choice. I prefer old Fenders, and have a 1964 P, 1969 P, and a 1965 J, each of which I love. But I played a friend's stacked knob J many years ago and I just can't get past how much I enjoyed playing it; I have never played a bass I liked more. Who knows whether the example in the link is as good as the one I played, however. 1960s Fender basses, IMHO, are all over the place. The very best ones are amazing.

The first Jazz Bass I ever played was a 1960/1961 Jazz Bass that an old friend has. I think she bought it when it was still fairly new as my first encounter with it (and her) was in 1971.
