The 80 is a totally different beast. I don't think that they compare tonally. The Connie has more gain, the 80 has bigger bass. Both are great amps.

Connie, more gain, compression, wild animal. K80 awesome clean, think Les Paul clean, can also handle range of pedals for variety of sounds of it's base clean sound.
To sell at that price someone must have needed some crack real fast.

haha but check his feedback .. take a look at the 2nd item ... I ehh don't know much about Fly Rods (I think they are for fishing?) and eh I don't know who Ron Kusse is ... but ...
$2556 for that vs. $2000 for the Komet ... that seems an insult! (then again someone who knows about fly rods can set me straight on this)

I don't know much about fly fishing or fly rods other than to say that fly fishing gear can be as finky and expensive as boutique guitars and amps. Like boutique guitars, fly fishing rods and lures can be hand-carved out of exotic woods. Fly fishermen will swear by particular makers of hand-carved rods out of exotic woods that are custom lengths -- the ideal length for the use -- and have just the right combination of snap and give -- that is, they have a superior feel compared to production rods of the products of other hand-carvers of rods. Lures are hand-tied (indeed, serious fly fishermen tie their own lures) according to the type of fish and stream where you are fishing.
