Working overnight and had my tidal playing radio stations and UFO live stuff came on

    :facepalm

Whole world has changed..can't believe I haven't listened to them sooner. :bonk

And Michael Schenker..man haven't had guitar work blow me away sincw I discovered Deep Purplw and Ritchie Blackmore.

I always heard hia name being brought up but I'm the type of listener where I enjoy my favorites so much I'll listen to em for months before searching for new stuff.

I played each track of their live album like 3 times..someone at work would ask me question and I would get annoyed having to pause the music it was so good.

I got into them (and Schenker) in a huge way about 8-9 years ago, same thing. Had always read the name in guitar magazines and never heard anything. Have fun! Schenker's phrasing and musicality is incredible, with such great touch and tone.

I didn't check Schenker out til fairly recently but this jam with the old Scorpions rhythm section of Rarebell and Buchholz I thought was pretty cool.

If you love Michael, and you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, type his name in the search field (video streaming). Some amazing live performances await you.

I'm an old fan....key word 56 years old.

Love....mostly the early stuff and some newer songs.

Growing up...tried to learn some of their guitar stuff.

    Schenker...need I say more?

Welcome to the club. Strangers in the Night is one of the best albums. It and Montrose should be as big as any Zep, Who or Van Halen.

My gosh, his lead on Lights Out and the transition into Rock Bottom is worth the price of admission alone.

The whole band kills on that album. Pat & Pat with Mars Cowling and Tommy Aldridge laying down some serious grooves

I've talked with Pete Way, seemed like a real nice fellow. I don't have a lot of their music, a couple CDs I think.

Some of his solo / MSG stuff is great too; check out his first(?) MSG album, the one with 'Into The Arena', there's some fantastic playing on that.
