and I'm not really sure what to build inside of it!

I'd really want to construct an actual spring reverb tank pedal, but I can't find any tanks that are shorter than 9" or so (ideally I'd need one around 7" - this box is 8 -5/8" wide)

what should I do? I was going to make a new front & back plate for it so that's not really an issue.

Shortest I found was 9.25", a few in the 10" range, and then most were larger. Good luck, maybe you can have one custom made at 7"?

yeah you know I was thinking something like that, but it's just an exoskeleton. the guts are kaput.

There really isn't much room to go diagonal either, especially if there's gonna be a PCB in there of any sort, too.

Octave multiplier/divider monophonic guitar synth, maybe with an envelope filter tracking the input signal.
