Because I am super picky, and I wanted to splurge a little bit. I went all out on my first true custom build.

This will be based on a WW10 that a forum member had for sale in which I fell in love with the color of it. Its a bit darker Lake Placid Blue and Nick said he could nail it. So slightly darker color - No relicing. And a complete custom neck.

The neck will be an exact clone of my les paul replica, which is an exact clone of a real 1959 les paul standard. So it will be a strat for people that like the feel of a les paul. For me...yeah that sounds perfect.

    Custom NECK Specs:
    Fat Vintage C Shape
    1st fret - .870
    7th fret - .906
    12th fret - .970
    nut width - 1.720
    12th fret width - 2.095

1962 Style Lake Placid Blue Stratocaster

    Body: Handmade Rocketfire Body
Finish: Lake Placid Blue (picture attached)
Relic Treatment: NOS, light aging of hardware/plastics, finish
    unchecked, just a tiny patina.
    Tuners: Locking Vintage Style Klusons
    Trem: Upgraded Callaham Trem System
Neck: AAA Flame Maple w/ DARK Slab Rosewood Board Madagascar RW and Clay dots. Satin finish on back of neck for
enhanced playability. Rolled Fingerboard edges and no hard shoulders.
Radius and Frets: 12" radius and 6100 Frets
    Pickups: Rocketfire 60's Pickups
Electronics - Your choice on pots, caps, and shielding. Cloth Wiring.
    Case: Hardshell G & G Case
Special: Blank Front of Headstock. Nick Sorenson signature on back.

Will look like this...but with no arm relic wear basically.

Very nice. You hired the right guy. Who is making the neck? Also, is the hand made body an upcharge?
