So I work from Starbucks two or three days a week... first time I've actually seen this behavior!

I am an IT sales guy for my day job, I'm on the road a lot for meetings and I'm taking conference calls a lot too etc. I often work from Starbucks between meetings and do emails. I have been in this industry 20 years and I'm in my 40s.

BUT... today, a 30ish pharma sales rep is now on her second con call via SPEAKER PHONE so everyone can hear it. Her voice is conversational, but the phone is much louder and reverberating throughout the joint. Yeah, I'm calling out her millennial behavior. IMHO this is pretty selfish and outright rude. I wouldn't even think of doing this for 90 seconds, much less 40 plus minutes on the first call and now for almost 15 minutes on the second call. She is getting glared at by pretty much everyone else that is working here. One chick next to her actually got up and left doing the whole SMH thing. Millennial girl was clueless and still is at this very minute.

I've never seen this behavior... Talk about self important.

Agree? Disagree? Discuss and feel free to post your "old man yells at clouds" meme.

Now... GET OFF MY COFFEE LAWN!!!

At my workplace, it's so bad that people are on business calls while going to the toilet. No joke! People are flushing, farting,... it's quite obvious it's a toilet. Nobody bats an eye.

    Unbelievable.

Oh... my territory is only Florida. Just last week my PC associated to its 21st Starbucks WiFi, so I'm exposed to several cities and/or locations. Still baffles me she is so inconsiderate of others around her.

She's a self absorbed idiot. I get that sometimes conference calls come at awkward times, but at least use a headset.

Conference calls are usually scheduled, at least they are in my business. Pharma girl can schedule earbuds into her day just as easily. In this situation, I would politely interrupt her call and ask her to reduce her volume or use headphones if she has them. If no results, then complain to the Starbucks management.

I go out once a week for a slice of pizza for lunch and occasionally have to overhear stuff I'd rather not. There was the guy sitting right behind me watching motocross races on his phone ( no earbuds, volume UP ) and the lady cooing to an unhappy baby via FaceTime were particular standouts.
