Anyone try them yet, or planning on trying them out soon? I think I may spring for a pair in a few weeks to try out in my '56 Goldtop Re-ish...

It's amazing that anyone would put out a new product like this and give absolutely no background or explanation about it. it's like walking into a bar and just walking up to a chick and asking her to get it on...............

Yeah, but that actually works (or should I say 'worked' as I've been happily married for 15 years) sometimes!.......Maybe in about 1 in 25 or so tries.

$120 for hum canceling, i guess the only different is the hum canceling toward the regular p90's

I saw some of these on eBay this week. I'm planning on waiting a couple months until (if? :D) the Kinman noiseless P90's come out and then seeing what the reviews have to say.

How do they differ from P92s?

First and more importantly, they fit P-90 routs and cosmetically look like standard soapbars or dogears...

I asked Lindy on the phone a few weeks ago if they were similar in construction to the P-92 and he said no, they were a whole different thing he was working on.

Lindy is probably my favorite all-around aftermaket pickup maker, so this catches my attention. I'm willing to take a chance on them based on my respect for his work...

you know, I never liked this with strat/tele pu's (hum-cancelling), and I tried, ymmv. I don't know if I would bother, seriously, the hum is not a big deal for either live or recording, really......it just bugs us to no end that...hmmmmmmmmmmmm...but when all is said and done, I love plain single coils best....un mucked with.

but, I have to agree, I love lindy's stuff, so I'm curiouis what this will sound like......guess I better get a p90 guitar soon! !! (owned in the past but not any @ the moment)

Anyone try these yet? I'm thinking of getting some and would love to hear how they sound compared to regular p90's.

As indicated in both this thread and the website itself, $120 per / $240 pair.

It sure looks like it would work better than a stacked P-90. What's also cool about it is you could give more winds to the bass side. That would be a nice feature.

I´d like to know as well.
I don´t have any problems using Hum-cancelling Strat/Tele pickups as I think that they are close enough to true single coils, but the only Hum-cancelling P90´s I´ve tried sounded nothing like the real thing...
